La primera reseña al CPC (Canciones Populares Contestatarias) de Perrozompopo ya aparecio, pero en ingles y en Miami, publicada por Fabrika!, de la mano de Jessica Roiz.
Perrozompopo’s music is fundamentally compounded of urban, rock, and a diverse mix of rhythms. “CPC” entirely gets you in different moods; your feelings will literally range from laid-back to vivacious. In order to grasp a better understanding of these incredible mood swings, “Busco” is one of the mellow toned and “Cancion Toxica” is one the vibrant songs that I recommend. Lyric wise, I admire the message he sends in all 12 tracks, but the one I favored the most is “Pasando mas”, a song devoted to the capital, Managua. The lyrics are brutally honest, just like most of his work, sin pelos en la lengua!
